Michael Vick Won’t Play Again:
Mr. Dave Goldberg, in the football news for New York states that, Michael Vicks plea accord and Mr. Roger Goodells decision on Friday, adds up to the conclusion that there is a fifty-fifty chance for Vick to play again for the National Football League. Vick may be out of the jail probably in time to play for the 2008 and the 2009 seasons of the National Football League. But, Vick is involved in the dog fighting ring and the bankrolling operation. This has been reprehensible for one simple post prison time. This is the cause that will enhance the missing of the 2007 season of the National Football League, by Michael Vick. Vick will most probably also spend a part of the 2008 season in jail. Vick will get a sentence of atleast a year or more, at the hands of the United States of America District Judge Mr. Henry E. Hudson. Goodell in his suspension letter of Vick has written that Vicks conduct was illegal, reprehensible and cruel.
Butler’s Football Days:
Jerrod Butler, the offensive lineman of the University of Houston, who was hospitalized in the Methodist hospital, was released on Friday. He was in the hospital for eleven days suffering from a cardiac arrest, which occurred during a workout session in the weight room of the Cougars. It is estimated that the football playing days of Butler are close to over. But still, the UH official assert that the red shirted second year undergraduate, Jerrod Butler is a Cougar. |
