Origin of football in the United States:

The settlers of the English colonies were responsible for Football Evolution in the United States of America, at the ending phases of the seventeenth century. Football was introduced in the American colleges two hundred years after this. In the year 1857, American football was given the first set of rules. These rules were drafted in the Princeton College.

American Football:

Football trophies are generally made of plastic or metal. The game of American football is the number one game in the spectator team sports category, in the United States of America. It is called American football outside the United States of America, in order to distinguish it from the forms of the game of football. These forms may be rugby or soccer. The evolution of American football came from the game of rugby, in the late years of the nineteenth century. American football is a team game. The objective of the game is to control the football and put it in the end zone of the opponent. This results in the scoring of points. There are two ways of passing the ball. One of the ways is to carry the ball and the other way is to pass the ball to the teammate. The ball has to be carried into the opponent’s end zone, by passing it to the teammates or kicking it in between the goal posts to score points. The team that has the highest points at the end is the winner.
