The Trade of Kendall by the Jets:
After a bad and unhappy training stint with the Jets, Mr. Pete Kendall has got the thing that he mostly wanted to happen. He has got a new team with a new contract. He has been traded by the New York Jets to the Washington Redskins. The Redskins hope that Pete, who is a veteran of the game, will fill the void of finding a left guard in the team. Kendall’s trading took place on Thursday. The Redskin’s team has offered a contract of $1 million to Pete Kendall. This has raised the salary of Kendall to $2.7 million. It was reported by National Football League Networks, Mr. Adam Schefter that Pete Kendall has passed the physical test, for allowing him to sign the contract. This is the trade that the Jets team was forced to make and at the same time, the Redskin’s team was avoiding to make.
Sidelining of the Ravens:
Many of the players in the Raven’s team are going to be sidelined for their scheduled match against the Washington redskins at the FedEx Field. Mark Clayton and Samari Rolle are both out of the next games, due to spraining of their right ankles. Both have predicted of playing in the season opener, against the Cincinnati Bengals. Rolle is confident of an early recovery and believes that, this injury will not last as the previous one that he suffered in last year’s game against the Oakland Raiders. The Ravens team is supposed to start with David Pittman, in the place of Rolle. |
