The 2008 Super Bowl is going to be held in the University of Phoenix Stadium, located in Arizona. The concept of the University of Phoenix Stadium is very innovative, and features very modern technologies and amenities, that are fan friendly in nature. It also provides a very secure environment for the fans. The stadium has a retractable roof and a field featuring grass roll-out pattern. The super bowl 2008 will be played at the University of Phoenix Stadium on 3rd February, 2008.

The stadium boasts of other facilities such as 63,400 seats, with the capacity to increase up to 73,000 seats for major events. The stadium is designed in the form of a barrel cactus. The stadium occupies more than twenty five acres of land and the field occupies over two acres of grass.

Tickets for the Super Bowl 2008:

Every person irrespective of his or her age has to purchase a ticket for the super bowl tournament. The demand for the tickets to the game exceeds the capacity of the University of Phoenix Stadium. Most of the tickets are sold to the fans by the teams that compete in the super bowl tournament. The rest of the tickets are given to the fans by way of random drawing. The entries for the random drawing process are accepted between 1st February and 1st June. The sale of tickets for the super bowl 2008 has started from 1st February 2007. The respective persons getting the tickets will be informed via mail by October or November, 2007.
